| dc.description.abstract | Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the social isolation measures applied throughout this period, the mass transit sector has been facing a difficult moment. As the daily movement of the population was reduced, the mass transit had an abrupt reduction in the demand of paying users, which unbalanced the system's revenues and caused operators to also reduce the offer, in order to find the balance by reducing costs. The present work aims to identify the percentage of reduction in the travel offer of the lines that serve the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). For this, the number of actual trips made by the lines that departed or passed through UFPA's mass transit terminals was recorded in the field and later this data was compared with the number of trips programmed for the lines, according to information from the Moovit mobility application. The survey detected an average reduction of 39.4% in the amount of trips offered, and in three lines (320 / 312 / 999) there were reductions of more than 70% in the offer of trips. Among the days of the week analyzed, Sundays and holidays had the greatest reduction (51.6%) in supply. The afternoon shift showed a greater reduction in travel (44.0%) than the morning shift (29.5%). Among the 3 months analyzed, July had the greatest reduction (42.9%). The work also registered a moderate positive correlation between the length of the line and the reduction in supply, indicating that in longer lines, there is a tendency towards a greater reduction in supply. Despite these significant reductions, there was a gradual increase in supply between July and September, following the advance of vaccination and a reduction in the number of cases and hospitalizations in the city. | en |
| dc.description.resumo | Em razão da pandemia de Covid-19 e das medidas de isolamento social aplicadas ao longo desse período, o setor de transporte público coletivo (TPC) vem enfrentando um momento difícil. À medida que o deslocamento diário da população foi reduzido, o TPC teve uma abrupta redução na demanda de usuários pagantes, o que desequilibrou as receitas do sistema e fez com que as operadoras reduzissem também a oferta, a fim de encontrar o equilíbrio pela redução de custos. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo identificar o percentual de redução na oferta de viagens das linhas que atendem à Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA). Para isso, foram registrados em campo o número de viagens reais das linhas que partiam ou passavam pelos terminais de TPC da UFPA e posteriormente essa contagem foi confrontada com o número de viagens programadas para as linhas, segundo informações do aplicativo de mobilidade Moovit. A pesquisa detectou uma redução média de 39,4% na quantidade de viagens ofertadas, sendo que em três linhas (320 / 312 / 999) foram registradas reduções de mais de 70% na oferta de viagens. Dentre os dias da semana analisados, os domingos e feriados foram os que tiveram maior redução (51,6%) na oferta. O turno da tarde apresentou maior redução de viagens (44,0%) do que o turno da manhã (29,5%). Dentre os 3 meses analisados, julho apresentou a maior redução (42,9%). O trabalho registrou também uma correlação positiva moderada entre a extensão da linha e a redução de oferta, indicando que em linhas mais longas, há tendência de maior redução na oferta. Apesar dessas reduções expressivas, foi verificado um aumento gradativo na oferta entre julho e setembro, acompanhando o avanço da vacinação e redução no número de casos e internações na cidade. | pt_BR |
