| dc.description.abstract | This research discusses the analysis of the difficulties encountered by women to enter the Hip hop movement from the figure of the singer and rapper Negra Li, during her entry until her departure from the group RZO (1996 - 2004). First, the constitution of rap in the context of São Paulo stands out, the concerns about the new rhythm that arrived in Brazil will be an important starting point, because from the definition of what rap is, the spoken funk and the elements that surround the movement of the anti-system youth subculture and a tool for contesting the status quo it was also a space for the dissemination of prejudices against women. In this context, the analysis of the career of the singer Negra Li becomes a mechanism for understanding the phenomenon of women's occupation in the segments of hip hop culture, their insertion in a group that carries masculinizing symbols even in the nomenclature, the Rapaziada da Zona Oeste will inaugurate in the life of Liliane de Carvalho, the need to develop defense mechanisms for the consolidation of her career as a backing singer, and then as an interpreter that other female figures in the scene also shared. In the expression of experiences through rap, it will be necessary to abandon what is traditionally considered feminine to obtain the respect of male colleagues and avoid harassment, which will be recurrent even in magazines specialized in the hip hop movement, adapting their clothing to the masculinizing world of rap will not always guarantee that women have the freedom to go on stage and resignify the peripheral daily life expressed in the lyrics based on the feminine perspective, a significant gap is present in the analysis of female rap groups when rap invades the center of São Paulo and then to the periphery. While rappers expressed moral and social values about the female sex in their lyrics, women used rap as an empowerment mechanism against machismo and sexism frequently in their daily lives, in addition to reporting their experiences as mothers, workers, girlfriends and artists. The research ends the analysis in 2004, with the departure of singer Negra Li from RZO, reporting the female challenges and the significant contributions that she and other artists brought to the rap scene. | en |
| dc.description.resumo | Esta pesquisa discute a análise das dificuldades encontradas pelas mulheres para a inserção no movimento Hip hop a partir da figura da cantora e rapper Negra Li, durante a sua entrada até a sua saída do grupo RZO (1996 - 2004). Destacam-se, primeiramente, a constituição do rap no contexto paulistano e as inquietações sobre o novo ritmo que chegava ao Brasil será um importante ponto de partida, pois a partir da definição do que é o rap, do funk falado e dos elementos que cercam o movimento da subcultura juvenil anti-sistema enquanto uma ferramenta de contestação do status quo também foi um espaço importante para a disseminação de preconceitos contra as mulheres. Nesse contexto, a análise da carreira da cantora Negra Li se torna um mecanismo para compreensão sobre o fenômeno de ocupação das mulheres nos segmentos da cultura hip hop, sua inserção em um grupo que carrega símbolos masculinizantes até na nomenclatura, a Rapaziada da Zona Oeste vai inaugurar na vida de Liliane de Carvalho, a necessidade de desenvolver mecanismos de defesa para a consolidação da sua carreira como backing vocal, e depois como intérprete, carreira que outras figuras femininas na cena também compartilharam. Na expressão das vivências por meio do rap, será necessário deixar em segundo plano o que tradicionalmente é considerado feminino para obter o respeito dos colegas homens e evitar o assédio, que será recorrente até nas revistas especializadas no movimento hip hop, adaptar suas vestimentas ao mundo masculinizante do rap nem sempre garantirá que as mulheres tenham liberdade para subir nos palcos e ressignificar o cotidiano periférico expresso nas letras tendo como base a perspectiva feminina, uma lacuna significativa está presente na análise grupos de rap femininos quando o rap invade o centro de São Paulo e depois para a periferia. Enquanto os rappers expressavam em suas letras valores morais e sociais sobre o sexo feminino, as mulheres utilizavam o rap como mecanismo de empoderamento contra o machismo e o sexismo frequentes no cotidiano delas, além de relatarem suas experiências enquanto mães, trabalhadoras, namoradas e artistas. A pesquisa finaliza a análise no ano de 2004, com a saída da cantora Negra Li do RZO, relatando os desafios femininos e as significativas contribuições que ela e outras artistas trouxeram para o cenário do rap. | pt_BR |
