dc.description.abstractThis present works seeks to deal with neuroscience applied to the field of mathematics, because education must be prioritized and have in itself the application of pedagogical and neuropsychopedagogical methods, in order to benefit the student in their learning process. The objective of this work is to seek to analyze the main theories of teaching and learning, based on neuroscience, in order to contribute to an increasingly deeper learning in mathematical language by students. To achieve the general objective in question, the following specific objectives are: Conceptualize neuroscience and cognitive neuroscience; investigate the connection between neuroscience and an individual's learning process, mainly in the area of mathematics; analyze and comment about the main theories of learning and among these, highlight which has a greater link with teaching and learning, based on neuroscience. The choice of this theme is justified by the importance of carrying out daily activities such as checking change and the bank account, helping children with their schoolwork, as well as making sense of statistical data and understanding news about health and economics, because the Math is part of our daily lives. In general, people make their decisions based on numerical information, so knowing how to interpret them allows the individual to make better choices throughout his life. The research methodology will be bibliographic research based on document analysis and literary review. Throughout the work, it was possible to present evolutionary aspects of the human brain, neuroscience and its application in cognition and the teaching of mathematics in Brazil.en
dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho busca tratar sobre neurociência aplicada ao campo da matemática, isso porque a educação deve ser priorizada e ter em si a aplicação de métodos pedagógicos e neuropsicopedagógicos, no sentido de beneficiar o aluno no seu processo de aprendizagem. O objetivo do presente trabalho é buscar analisar as principais teorias de ensino e aprendizagem, baseando-se na neurociência, no intuito de contribuir com um aprendizado cada vez mais aprofundado na linguagem matemática pelos discentes. Para atingir o objetivo geral em questão, tem-se como objetivos específicos: Conceituar neurociência e neurociência cognitiva; investigar a ligação entre a neurociência e o processo de aprendizagem de um indivíduo, principalmente na área da matemática; analisar as principais teorias da aprendizagem e dentre estas, destacar qual possui um maior vínculo com o ensino e a aprendizagem, baseados na neurociência. A escolha do presente tema justifica-se na importância do exercício das atividades cotidianas como conferir trocos e a conta bancária, auxiliar as crianças em suas tarefas escolares, bem como, dar sentido a dados estatísticos e entender notícias sobre saúde e economia, pois, a matemática faz parte do nosso dia a dia. Em geral, as pessoas tomam as suas decisões com base em informações numéricas, assim, saber interpretá-las, permite que o indivíduo faça melhores escolhas ao longo de sua vida. A metodologia de pesquisa será a de pesquisa bibliográfica pautada na análise documental e revisão literária. Conseguiu-se apresentar ao longo do trabalho aspectos evolutivos do cérebro humano, a neurociência e sua aplicação na cognição e o ensino da matemática no Brasil.pt_BR
